Group Calling National Anthem Lyrics Racist, Anti-Black

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The California NAACP is pushing to get rid of the national anthem that they’re calling racist and anti-black. “This song is wrong; it shouldn’t have been there, we didn’t have it ’til 1931, so it won’t kill us if it goes away,” said the organization’s president Alice Huffman.

Lmfao. What language is “stay woke”?

    • BerkeleyLifer

Itโ€™s liberal smelling salt. On another note Patch banned me! I guess calling them faggots irked them ๐Ÿ˜‚. It was this very subject ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Sometimes to reach the people you have to speak a language they understand.

        Word.

I’m not talking abut buzzwords, or “baby got back” or anything Enima sings. I mean a politician using poor English proving, not her point, but that she’s incapable of an educated sentence.

How the heck is this racial? Because the word slave is in it? Not all slaves were black – This racial BS is beyond stupid.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wiped out their foul footstep’s pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I get it. Stooping any lower to that bastardization of English would put me banging women in the head with clubs and dragging them to my cave…I shouldn’t have spoken so soon though. I’ll bet some Hollyweird elite will be accused of that shortly.

I remember growing up when rap was just coming into the lime light. Our 7th grade history teacher made a rap about the civil war… it was crap but because of that song nearly every kid got an A on that particular exam because the song. When you speak the language an audience understand the message hits home that much harder… I wouldn’t sat it’s bastardizing the language.

        • 1Caryn

          Mums the word! lmbo.

    • Pompano Queen1

Auntie Max coined that a few months back while speaking. She told them to “stay woke”! It was hilarious. Talk about sounding like an uneducated buffoon! Right after that I was hearing McDonald’s use the phrase on their breakfast commercials. ROTFLMAO!

      ebonics?

These are the facts….Black on black crime is rampant. There is a large percentage of single mothers out there who have incarcerated or completely absent fathers. The kids arenโ€™t getting a proper education or performing below acceptable levels. 1of 9 kids of all colors is at poverty level and can only eat when they go to school. But a song is the problem?

    • EarnitYourself

Perfect. There are a lot of people and even whole organizations that rely on “the injustices” for their income and existence.

Imagine if they announced that all FEMA employees would be unemployed once the Irma damage was done away with? The work would never be completed.

Why would we expect race baiters to effectively make themselves obsolete and irrelevant?

    • Herbsman200

Why can’t we just say crime is rampant…period. It really doesn’t matter the color of the person crime is rampant everywhere.

      • tardisbabe

Good point. But the protest is over social injustices done to blacks, and Iโ€™m saying there are far bigger problems, such as those that i listed, hitting the black community. This song is not one of them.

        • Herbsman200

I get what you are saying but what is the correct way to protest? Every avenue tried the media tried to villify.

          • tardisbabe

Theyโ€™re protesting the wrong thing. Protest problems with schools, protest lack of motivation to get a job, protest parents who teach their kids crime pays better than real work, hence the lack of motivation to get a job. Those are real, tangible problems which if addressed could affect the social injustice claims.

          • Charles___Darwin

It’s always easier for the “oppressed” to have pity parties and focus on non-relevant issues. Ironically, Louis Farrakan, a violent racist, is the only “leader” to teach self-reliance.

Look at the statue controversy. It was basically a party for the snowflakes to go out and tear down some statue. Wow, that sure solved things, didn’t it?

          • Pompano Queen1

Ha ha… not. History hasn’t changed from it.

            Yep!

      • Charles___Darwin

No argument there. Throw them all in jail, regardless of race, creed, whatever.

    • Pompano Queen1

      Exactly!

  • Pompano Queen1

WTF will be next? It’s our national anthem… get over it or move to another country!
