Trump begins Obamacare dismantling with executive order

The executive order would direct federal agencies to study how to make it easier for small businesses, and possibly individuals, to join together and buy health insurance, a senior administration official said Thursday. Separately, the order would allow consumers to buy short-term policies, which don’t have to comply with Obamacare’s protections for those with pre-existing conditions.

If you mean paying less, it is called the Affordable Care Act, by securing a policy I want and not forced on me by the govt, the correct term is improving by dismantling.

The story on ABC this morning was about cutting subsidies for ACA recipients.
They had a “Former economic advisor to Obama” frantically yelling “nobody wants this! Not doctors, nurses, administrators, nobody!” to oppose the move.

I watched in disbelief. Has America been dumbed down to that point?

Those subsidies don’t go to the leaches of society, it flows right through them into the insurers and providers’ pockets. Of course they don’t want to see that revenue IV taken out!

I am worried. My family relies on marketplace coverage. I have no idea what I will do if we lose the credit because I simply can’t pay $1000 a month for medical insurance.

I’m in the same boat now! After losing my career in 2010 along with my salary (working for less than half what I once made) and insurance. I don’t know what I will do.
