A third-grade student in Florida was sent home from school on picture day because he broke the dress code by sporting blue hair. Dana Sinno told TV station News4 Jax her 8-year-old son Luca didn’t get to have his picture taken Monday at his elementary…

    Must have gay parents!

And you know one of them is pushig an agenda.

      • Pompano Queen1

        YEP!

  • tardisbabe

I don’t see anything wrong with it.

    • Herbsman200

      I agree

  • EarnitYourself

The kid has a lock on “Most likely to take it in the butt.”

  • grandma954

My kids did this with food coloring for sports and stuff, but not for their 3ed grade pic. But have any of you looked back at your old pics. and seen some of the hair we wore.. OMG , Our parents were MEAN….. lmao

    • Pompano Queen1

      lol!

    • Herbsman200

Todays kids are not us. The little boy was nicely dressed so the ‘F” what they wanted to highlight his hair blue. Have you ever seen how some parents are dressed to drop off or pick up those kids?

      • grandma954

I wasn’t saying there was anything wrong with it, to each his own, I was just making the comment about our styles when we were kids, Then I got to looking at my kids hair when they were in jr.high and high school. We all had a great belly laugh.. Lighten up Herb. Im not always on the attack…lol

        • Herbsman200

I’m not attacking you G-MA but we all will get old one day and won’t understand what the generation behind us is doing. We all been there and to me the school should be ashamed… What was so bad there… he looks like a handsome young man to me.

      • tardisbabe

Do you mean the parents wearing pajamas or the ones looking like they’re gonna hit south beach? Lol

        • Herbsman200

OMG YES and then you wonder where the kids get it from.

    • tardisbabe

I shamefully admit to depleting part of the ozone layer thanks to overuse of Aqua Net.

      • grandma954

My girls too, thank goodness back in the day is was a buck a can…lol

  • Herbsman200

REALLY I mean REALLY…what wrong with his hair. That school should be ashamed

    • EarnitYourself

It’s gotta be tough being in the electronics industry when you’re color blind. How do you know what color the wires are?

The nine year old’s hair is purple. That’s what’s wrong with it.

      • Herbsman200

We also live in 2017 where coloring your hair is acceptable…. remember the days when your mullet was considered a dumb hair style? Are you getting too old Earnie.

        • EarnitYourself

Nice one on the mullet, but I think you screwed up the delivery. Never. Not a chance.

So if your son had come home with a cock and balls etched into the side of his fade, you’d have been fine with that?

          • Herbsman200

That is like comparing apples to oranges Earn. If my son were to do that I wouln’t be happy because that is offensive…but a little coloring cmon. This is similar to the case where the school sent the little girl home for wearing the braids she got during a stop to some Caribbean island. how is a hair style a distraction. Well a cock and balls on the side of a childs head would be hahhaa

          • EarnitYourself

No, it’s apples to apples. Offensive hair.

You, like all libs, think you’re the ultimate arbitrator, able to define offensive versus expression.

Why do you not love your son just because he digs cocks n balls?

You shouldn’t just stifle his freedom to express that just because YOU think it’s offensive.

          • Herbsman200

Cmon now Earn you being silly… how does blue hair compare to a cock and balls etched on the side of someones head …there is no comparison.

    • EarnitYourself

I guess we just sit back and wait to hear from this butt pirate’s mom and mom that their little darling was bullied?

      • Herbsman200

Where did it say his parents are gay?

    • tardisbabe

And it’s temporary. Hair color washes out in weeks or days depending what you use. Now had this kid been sporting face tattoos, I’d be singing a whole different tune.

  • Herbsman200

If that’s the case why not stop Goth kids from wearing all black and black nail polish.

    • EarnitYourself

Maybe there’s hope for you, Herbie.

    • EarnitYourself

BTW, you mention goth a lot. Isn’t that long gone?

      • disqus_j5Nj3oxoii

He always has to find something wrong with people who don’t look like him. It makes him feel dominant and powerful!!!!

      • tardisbabe

I think it’s still around but not as popular. I guess no one can afford the eyeliner anymore.

    • Rijomi2

I would say the same. School is preparation for the real world. Getting up, achievement, and learning social interaction. Teaching him a lesson that would’ve have bite him in the ass is not a bad idea. You can do that stuff in the summer. Personally I don’t think he’s old enough to make a decision and be aware of the consequences.

    • tardisbabe

Omg wearing all black is my sons fashion of choice these days. But he isn’t causing problems in school and he got straight As on his interim report…..so sometimes we pick and choose our battles. At least he isnt coloring his hair! I do wish he’d cut it though. Again, pick and choose….
