CBS Legal Exec: No Sympathy For Vegas ‘Because Country Music Fans Often Are Republican’

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night. “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook on Facebook.

    She should be terminated immediately.

    • Herbsman200

Cmon now… she has a point. Why is it OK for the other side to not be sympathetic when blacks kill blacks… but when a white guys kills fellow white people we have to all be like AWWWWW. I always say don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house….. all the windows will be broken.

      • Rijomi2

What;s her point, tell me? Curt Schilling lost his job over transgenders. If anyone at CBS tweeted a lack of sympathy for black on black violence that get fired in a second. The MSM doesn’t even recognize black on black violence lol.
        .
        Racist tweets are always offensive.

Former MLB pitcher Mike Bacsik lost his gig as a radio producer after getting drunk and tweeting some racially-loaded comments during a Mavericks-Spurs game. The game didn’t exactly go his way and he had some pretty unpopular things to say afterward.

        • Herbsman200

To be honest she has her opinion. Not every though a person has is rational. I mean was it insensitive ….yes… but the point is people like to say GOOD let them wipe themselves out. Chiraq or whatever other junk get thrown around the web when it’s BOB but we should be sympathetic to the white nationalist when they kill each other …I say let them wipe themselves out. Same for me same for you. eye for an eye.

            It matters not…
CBS Executive Fired After Demeaning Vegas Shooting Victims

59 mins ago – While the rest of the nation mourned the stunning mass shooting that killed more than 50 people and injured hundreds more, a CBS executive .

          • Pompano Queen1

            GREAT! She was fired!

          • Charles___Darwin

So what would happen if an employee at Fox wore a confederate flag shirt?

You see where I’m going here.

          • Herbsman200

I’m sure it was done there… just not reported.

          • Charles___Darwin

You see, that’s the leftist narrative. “If they disagree with us, they’re racist”.
The trouble is, people are on the that nonsense and don’t buy into anymore. There is even a backlash against it, which is what got Trump elected.

          • Herbsman200

That was a joke… I’m sure you know not all news is reported… You do realize there is more good being done in the world than bad. I refuse to think we live in a society where we need to be scared of each other.

          • Charles___Darwin

Agreed but there is a segment of society that causes most of the problems. I call it the “10 per centers”.

10 percent of any population causes 90 percent of the problems. Not based on race, religion, nothing.

You take a group of supervisors, workers, cops, lawyers, whatever….10 percent of those sub-groups cause most of the problems.

          • Herbsman200

I can appreciate that. The issue is here the media uses those 10% to get fame.. In what normal world would a disrespectful child get praised for cash me outside how bout dat?

          • Charles___Darwin

No doubt. As a private employer, I’m sure you’ve seen the “problem children” within your own businesses.

This woman is an executive at a major news network. If she had said that the people in Orlando that got killed deserved it because they were gay, she’d already be packing her bags.
My MIL is a huge country music fan, and she is a democrat. But hey, what’s a few blue people in a sea of red ones as far as the blogging woman is concerned? Kill em all and let God sort them out?

        • High_Yellow3

Don’t waste your time arguing with a racist idiot.

          • Pompano Queen1

            So very true high!

      • EarnitYourself

I think you’re missing the point, Herbie.
“The other side” doesn’t fail to feel empathy when blacks kill blacks.
The question is… “Why do the BLM protest a cop firing at some dude who tried to run him over while committing crime… yet they do nothing about the nightly and weekly shootings in the same streets of Chicago?”

20,000+ innocent people went to enjoy a concert and a psycho opened fire on them. You can’t defend against that.

Rival gangs carry out their wars on the same streets of Chicago on an ongoing basis, and nothing gets done.

        That’s the frustration.

If you don’t see the difference, I give up.

        • Herbsman200

What you don’t get is we are all people so a person killed by gang violence is the same as people getting killed at a concert. It’s a lost life… Yet people are scared to call this an act of terror. That bum was a terrorist. He is just as bad as any gang member I would say worse…. Gang members target their own. They rarely just open fire on innocent people.

          • EarnitYourself

OMG. You don’t see the difference.

This was a random act of violence. No way to anticipate it.

I can tell you right now that at least two people will be shot and killed this weekend in the same streets as every weekend in Chicago. Patrols could police that. It could be stopped if the authorities wanted to.

You can’t protect these soft targets.
Idiots are talking about cop snipers and helicopters going forward. Sure.

          • disqus_j5Nj3oxoii

No he doesn’t get it at all. He is blinded by his belief whites are the devils and the cause of every bad thing. He also believed blacks are innocent angels earning their wings daily with good deeds. Well whites are devils before and after they pay their bill to him and his company that is. What a crock.

      • Charles___Darwin

She has a point? She’s just another bitchy rich white liberal. You think she cars about the “downtrodden”? Maybe from her penthouse in New York, but talk is cheap.

      • disqus_j5Nj3oxoii

You are right, that vile CU#T is entitled to her opinion. I am also glad they fired her ass. She can think about it getting her unemployment check. Enjoy. I wonder if the liberal hypocrite said the same after the Muslim killed mostly gay people in the pulse nightclub. No she didn’t.

  • Pompano Queen1

WTF? YOU ARE FIRED!!!!! Dem’s keep showing their asses.

  • Herbsman200

So is safe to say there is Sickle Cell in the Nationalist party?

    • Jarpo

      Law of averages says yes.

  • Charles___Darwin

She’ll get hired at PMSNBC as an anchor. She’s your typical nasty, sanctimonious liberal.

  • EarnitYourself

Who would ever hire someone who could say something like that?
    What a deranged mind.

  • Pompano Queen1

This is what happens when you politicize a horrible tragedy! Politicians coming out of the wood work showing their asses.

  • Charles___Darwin

She’ll have a job at PMSNBC or the Clinton News Network before the week is out. Either that or she’ll go to work at daddy’s law firm.
